What is a ohio township constable9/8/2023 ![]() ![]() In 2013 Dillon was promoted to a part-time officer. As an auxiliary officer Dillon worked 20 hours a week without pay to gain law enforcement experience while maintaining a full-time job. Dillon joined the Goshen Township Police Department as an auxiliary police officer in 2012. After six months in the Police Academy he earned certification as a law enforcement officer in Ohio. In 2011 Dillon enrolled in the Police Academy at Sinclair Community College. Sergeant West is a 2009 graduate of Little Miami High School. Police Department commendations and complaints should be directed to Bob Rose, Chief of Police or (513) 722-3200. He is a graduate of the Police Executive Leadership College, Public Safety Leadership College, LEAD Clermont, and he has an Undergraduate Certificate in Human Resource Management, with honors, from Ashworth College. He is a Certified Law Enforcement Executive, the highest executive level police certification in Ohio. He was promoted to Chief of Police in April 2016.Ĭhief Rose has a Criminal Justice degree from the University of Cincinnati. In 2010 he was appointed Police Captain with the Goshen Township Police Department. In 2004 he was named Chief of Police in the Village of Blanchester and he served there until 2006 when he accepted a position with the Ohio State Highway Patrol as a State Trooper. He was appointed to his first position as a police officer with the Village of Williamsburg in 1997 and soon thereafter moved on to the Miami Township Police Department where he held positions including canine officer and field training officer. He began his law enforcement journey as a Police Explorer with the Miami Township Police Department at the age of 14. Chief Rose is a graduate of Milford High School and has lived in and near Goshen for most of his life.
